Joint Mobilisation

Joint Mobilisation is when the therapist takes a joint through its normal range of motion with slow controlled movements. This technique showed be performed with care and only by a qualified professional.

Mobilisation techniques can improve the available range of motion for the joint, which can result in a higher comfort for the dog when moving. This also helps to reduce any unnecessary stress being put through the muscles of the limbs.

Joint Mobilisation improves joint range of motion by preventing joints from becoming severely restricted whilst also ensuring full movement is available.
